Board Meeting

The next Board meeting will be held Monday, September 25 at 9am at Estero Country Club and via Zoom. The Zoom link will be emailed to you the Friday before by Pegasus.

The Board has engaged Association Reserves, an industry leader in providing comprehensive assessments of HOA reserves to perform an analysis VCA assets including their expected remaining life and replacement cost. This will be used to plan for, and fund, the reserves needed to maintain our community now and into

the future.

Important Information from Xfinity

Residents can get Storm-Ready WiFi for $7/month for 36 months, or $252 when paid-in-full. Please contact 1.800.934.6489 (1.800.Xfinity) or use the Xfinity “Xfinity” App for all your Residential Account needs including urgent matters.

Lake Water Quality

The lake levels are unseasonably low due to lack of rain, high temperatures and water for the irrigation of the new grass on the golf course.

FPL Utility Pole Replacement

FPL has begun the replacement of the utility poles on the west side of the property beginning at the gate. Installation of poles on the east side has not yet begun.As soon as work is completed the chainlink fence repair and hedge restoration can begin.


In March the VCA negotiated compensation with FPL for damaged caused to the perimeter hedge by their pole replacement project. The payment of $54K was received on 9/11.

Traffic Issues

Two DO NOT ENTER and one YIELD signs will be installed at the carwash entrance to address the problem of vehicles exiting the carwash and turning left into the incoming entrance lane.


In addition, the Village of Estero has advised the VCA that the intersection of Vintage Trace Parkway and Route 41 will be included in a new traffic study.

Security Issues

If you see a security issue that needs police attention, call 911 or the Estero Police Dept. DO NOT CALL THE FRONT GATE! Gate security personnel cannot report something they did not see themselves to the policy.

Estero River Oaks Preserve Looking For Volunteers

The Village-owned River Oaks Preserve, a 10-acre property at the end of Broadway Avenue East, is now open on Sundays and Tuesdays from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.


The Coccoloba Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society is managing the property and they have been busy working to prepare the property, restoring gopher tortoise habitat and setting up the nursery operation, and they could use your help.


If you would like to get involved with this important volunteer effort, you may either just show up on Sundays or Tuesdays during their working hours or you may call 239-273-8945 to offer your services.


The Coccoloba Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society is a 501{C){3) organization run by volunteers with the mission to promote the preservation, conservation and restoration of native plants and native plant communities of Florida. To learn more about this organization, go to their website here.
