Since 2005
Where did you get this vehicle? From my father, when my father passed away.
What was the story behind the vehicle? This is the vehicle that my father owned when he and my mother got married in 1946. It was restored in the late 1970s and received its Senior award in 1981.
What condition was it in when you got it? Average condition.
What kind of work have you done to this vehicle? Completely re-restored it in
2021 by Larry VanDunk of Ancient City Restorations.
What was the hardest part to find? Material for the top. Everything else came from The Filling station or they told me where I could find it
What other vehicles do you own? None
Do you have any other projects you are working on or plan to start soon? No
Do you have any advice for people thinking about starting a restoration? Don’t
expect it to happen quickly. Be patient.
Are there any interesting stories you can share with us about your experiences with this vehicle? My mother said when she and my father were dating she had to bring blankets with her to wrap up in the winter because the car had no heater
