BCPS schools are fully accredited

All schools in Bedford County Public Schools (BCPS) are fully accredited, according to data released by the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE). Earlier this month, BCPS projected it would earn full accreditation based on internal reports and testing data. The state's data confirmed this projection.

Frederick County Public Schools decides to revisit dress code policy

The Frederick County School Board voted Tuesday night to revisit the school division's dress code policy, focusing on the regulation that concerns the enforcement of dress code protocol. Board member Ellen G. White, who represents the Redbud District, made a motion to review a specified section of code within the student conduct handbook.

CCPS reports that 100% of schools are accredited - Chesterfield Observer

The Virginia Department of Education announced on Sept. 22 that every Chesterfield County school is accredited for the 2022-23 school year. Chesterfield County Public Schools reported this is the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic that Virginia has used Standards of Learning pass rates to assess school accreditation.
