Grayson FCCLA students win big at conference | VIRGINIA BEACH - Youth from the Grayson County chapter of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) were recognized at a weekend leadership training conference held April 14-16 in Virginia Beach. Attendees participated in workshops and sessions that challenged, informed and motivated members and their advisors to learn more about leadership through FCCLA. | | |
Southampton High School students become FAA-certificated remote pilots - The Tidewater News | Three Southampton High School students have passed the Part 107 Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems exam, which certifies them as remote pilots. An SHS news release noted that senior Camari Mitchell, senior Samantha Grassman and junior Jack Smith are distinguished among their classmates as they are now considered Federal Aviation Administration-certificated remote pilots. | | |
