RPS board votes to move Fox Elementary students to First Baptist Church for in-person learning

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - The Richmond Public Schools Board unanimously approved moving Fox Elementary School students to First Baptist Church on Monument Avenue for in-person learning. The move came after several parents of Fox students voiced their frustration over the board's lack of decision over the past three weeks as students learned virtually.

New welding lab offering new opportunities for Pulaski County students

DUBLIN, Va. - Students in Pulaski County have a new way to prepare themselves for life after high school. "It is a $1,030,000 investment in education," said Megan Atkinson, the Career and Technical Education Director at Pulaski County High School. $100 million bond issuance planned for CHS and other projects

CHRISTIANSBURG - The Montgomery County School Board approved a measure this past week requesting up to $100 million in bond proceeds be spent on Christiansburg High School and other unidentified future capital items. The request went to the county Board of Supervisors, which decides on the debt to be issued on school projects.
