We’re helping get Virginians back to work.

VA Ready’s goal is to reward out of work Virginans who commit themselves to training for in-demand jobs so they can get back to work quickly. We’ve partnered with businesses across Virginia and Virginia’s Community Colleges and the FastForward Workforce Credential Program to equip them with the skills needed for in-demand jobs in high-growth sectors.
The VA Ready Scholars Program was created for people who are recently out of work due to the economic impact of Covid-19. The VA Ready Scholars program is for people who want to gain access to new skills for in-demand jobs.

A VA Ready Scholar is someone who enrolls in and achieves a credential in approximately 30 select training programs offered through the FastForward program at one of Virginia’s Community Colleges.

Upon completing the training course and earning the credential, VA Ready scholars receive a $1,000 Credential Achievement Award and the opportunity to interview with business partners in the field they studied.

Additional information on the program can be found on this flyer or https://vaready.org/.
The Rebuild VA Grant Fund is a program to help small businesses and non-profits whose normal operations were disrupted by COVID-19, including restaurants, brick and mortar retail, exercise and fitness facilities, personal care and personal grooming services, entertainment and public amusement establishments, and campgrounds.

Businesses and non-profits that are approved for a Rebuild VA grant may receive up to 3 times their average monthly eligible expenses up to a maximum of $10,000.
