The Virginia Association of Secondary School Principals and Virginia Association of Elementary School Principals express their gratitude to Governor Glenn Youngkin for this special recognition of Virginia school leaders.

For 40 consecutive years, VASSP and VAESP have requested this annual proclamation. Beginning with Governor Baliles in 1986, Virginia became the first state in the nation where principals, through their professional organizations, asked and received a governor's recognition for a special week dedicated to you!
