Tracking Requests
We are hoping you can help us with a problem that’s been slowing down sample request processing.
We have been overrun with requests for tracking.
The more we must look up tracking the less material gets out/processes the same day.
On the first lines of all our confirmations, there is a timeline of when the customer can expect their order.
- For material we have in sample stock UPS ground to most areas is 1-4 days.
- Any order coming directly from the supplier, we give an estimate of two weeks.
For your convenience, we’ve attached a map here of the UPS estimates for Ground shipping. Please note what area you are in, and that’s the typical timeframe you can expect your UPS Ground shipments coming from the SAM warehouse.
The system that adds the UPS tracking to the items that ships from the sample warehouse has a glitch we are trying to fix. If the order is invoiced and there is no tracking on it, it’s a glitch and the material has shipped and will make it to the customer in the timeframe stated in the confirmation.
Additionally, 99% of the items we are asked to track have already been delivered.
Please make sure that before you ask for tracking, you’ve checked with your customer that they’ve received the material.
The goal for the future is that when we get the sample process online and on apps, the tracking will be sent to the customer automatically. That’s coming later down the pipeline.
