  • MRZ - Initial samples (DES, CDT, WDL, PLM only) per Jeff Kolp & Marketing two of each item will be on your samples pallet this week.
  • OHM - Valiant backer (IND, STM, CDT and WDL) in the last two weeks we sent out backers for your 6 Valiant display pieces per Jeff Kolp. Please use Kerdi Fix Bright White to glue them on. Let me know if you need help, have any questions or concerns.

  • On this day in 1826, Granite Railway, first chartered railroad in the United States began operations. Running three miles from Quincy, Mass., to the Neponset River. Horse-drawn wagons with wheels 6 feet in diameter hauled blocks of granite along these rails to the river, from where they were taken by barge to Charlestown in Boston, Mass., for use in the construction of the Bunker Hill Monument.


  • On this day in 1916, Cumberland vs. Georgia Tech football game was played between the Cumberland College Bulldogs and the Georgia Tech Engineers. Georgia Tech defeated the Bulldogs 222–0 for the most differentiated score in the history of college football. Cumberland had disbanded its football program the previous year but was still obligated to play this game against Georgia Tech. Cumberland never achieved a first down in the entire game.


  • On this day in 1985, Lynette Woodard becomes first female Harlem Globetrotters player. She beat out nine other finalists,
