In an assignment/reassignment outside of your scope of practice, request the assignment be changed to meet your competency and scope of practice.
If Virtua refuses to adjust the assignment you should be specific about what skills/new skills you need to learn/oriented outside of your competency.

Keep records if you were made to learn something new, such as treatments, medications, buddying with another colleague.
Make note of any potential dangers that occurred.
Make notes of the impact to the patient and safety resulting in potential impact against your license. (times/dates, save notes to email/phone) no patient identifiers!
Keep records of all hours worked, the impact of plan on your working condition, home life, childcare, elder care, other concerns.
You are entitled to your contractual breaks, benefits, and committed hours!
