In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are excited to offer an interactive virtual training that you will not want to miss! 

This four-week course is designed for teachers and other certified school personnel who serve students with challenging behavior. 

Course Objectives: 

Upon completion, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe the components of challenging behavior. 
  2. Determine reasons why challenging behavior occurs.
  3. Reduce challenging behavior through preventive strategies, teaching new skills, and positive reinforcement. 

Course Format: 

The course includes required live meetings, recorded content, and supplementary activities. Participants should expect to spend approximately 2 hours per week on this training.

Live Meetings: 

Participants will attend 4 interactive live meetings over Zoom with the link emailed each week. The meetings will last 45-60 minutes.

Monday, September 28, 2020 at 3:00 p.m.
Monday, October 5, 2020 at 3:00 p.m.
Monday, October 12, 2020 at 3:00 p.m.

Recorded Content:

Participants will watch 1-2 recordings per week prior to the live meetings. The recorded content is 30-45 minutes long.  

Supplementary Activities: 

Participants will receive videos, resources, and additional supports for the course content. 

Cost: $150/person
