The Library may be closed, but your access is still open! Your Librarians are hard at work curating new content and planning virtual programs to sate your intellectual curiosity.

Hoopla Bonus Borrows

The Hoopla Bonus Borrows program, created in response to an increase in Hoopla usage, will be discontinued this Thursday, April 30. Don't miss out on your last week of over 1,100 ebooks and digital audiobooks of top titles that deduct zero borrows from your 6-item Hoopla limit.

Run out of Hoopla borrows for the month? Your Library also provides ebooks and digital audiobooks via our cloudLibrary and OverDrive services. We also offer over 30,000 documentaries and classic, indie, and children's films via our Kanopy service!

Stories From Mount Washington via Zoom

Wednesday, April 29, 2020
6:00pm-7:00pm

NH author Dan Szczesny and filmmaker Bill Millios will discuss their new documentary Stories From Mount Washington , based on Szczesny's book The White Mountain: Rediscovering Mount Washington's Hidden Culture . Residents are invited to view the film for free until the April 29th meeting date to participate in this virtual discussion over Zoom!

Those interested should email max@merrimacklibrary.org for a link to watch the film from home and attend the Zoom meeting on April 29th.
Access The Great Courses on Kanopy

Library cardholders have access to The Great Courses series through our Kanopy platform! Browse over 6,000 college-level courses in a variety of subjects, from history and humanities to hobbies and lifestyle skills.

Users are permitted to watch an unlimited number of films through our Kanopy service until May 15th, at which time its use will be reevaluated. Please email max@merrimacklibrary.org to share feedback or express interest in the Kanopy platform.
Resident Fast Facts

The Merrimack Superintendent has announced the last day of school for this academic year will be Friday, May 29.

There is only a 41.3% response rate for the 2020 Census in our county. Help shape the future of our community by filling out the online questionnaire or calling 844-330-2020 to respond.

The second session of the Town of Merrimack's ballot voting,
originally slated for this Tuesday, April 28, has been postponed to Tuesday, May 12. The 3 polling locations include James Mastricola Upper Elementary School All-Purpose Room, Merrimack Middle School, and St. John Neumann Church.
