This program is a VA enterprise-wide leadership development program established to enhance the leadership skills of emerging leaders. The virtual online program is designed to prepare individuals for various supervisory roles within VA. The program is conducted entirely online, which will continue over a period of three months, integrating VA’s Mentorship Program and the My Development Plan within TMS.
To participate in this transformative opportunity, you must be:
- A full-time employee with a minimum of 12 months of employment at VA.
- vASP provides a unique career exploration opportunity for team members who aspire to lead. Over a three-month period starting January 2023 and ending March 2023, participants complete assignments in a team setting, engage in live, 90-minute, weekly webinars*, complete an electronic development plan and receive mentorship by a VA supervisor all online.
- Able to commit 3 to 5 hours per week to program activities and coursework (approximately two of those hours are completed during your regular working hours).
