Eastern Maine Community College
Take a look at campus - from home!
In these difficult times, we unfortunately cannot accommodate tour groups on campus in the interest of the health and safety of our staff. However, we want you to know that EMCC's doors will open for you the moment we get the green light. In the meantime, we've compiled some campus photos and the link to our virtual tour video below. We hope this glimpse of campus can start to answer some questions you might have.
Residence Halls
EMCC has two residence halls on campus, Kineo and Acadia, housing around 250 resident students. Each hall has a large common area with TV's and games, laundry facilities, and peer RA's on each floor.

Dining
EMCC has the McCorkill Dining Hall located in Katahdin Hall, that has been renovated in this last year to include brand new seating options. The dining hall serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Students can have a resident or commuter meal plans.

The Eagle's Nest Cafe is in Maine Hall and has plenty of to-go food options for students on the go. Also newly renovated, is another great study space and have a snack.

Academic Resources
EMCC's expansive library takes up the entire second floor of Katahdin Hall. It features a large gathering space that looks over the quad with exercise bike desks, bean bags, and standing desks. Around the library include areas with comfy chairs, computers, and quiet corners for students to get their studying done. The Innovation Hub has alternative and collaborative learning opportunities.

The Student Success Center (SSC) in Maine Hall has peer tutors, conference rooms, and plenty of space for groups to meet.

Student Life
From living in a residence hall, to joining any number of our clubs on campus, you always have a way to connect. TRiO, Phi Theta Kappa Honor's Society, and Student Senate are some of our most active clubs on campus and always put on some really great events, like visits to UMaine and Husson, and even a Halloween Trunk-or-Treat.

Labs & Facilities
EMCC has state of the art facilities for all our hands-on learning programs. These include 2 large garage spaces for Automotive and Diesel, a full industrial kitchen for Culinary, a large Welding shop, the Public Safety Training Center, large Building Construction and Fine Woodworking shop, several medical labs with hospital grade equipment, and a computer technology center with 3D printers. The list goes on. If you would like to see photos from a program not shown here, let us know!
