VIRTUAL FORKLIFT TRAIN THE TRAINER CLASS

Why:

Forklift training and evaluation is mandatory for all forklift operators. Inadequate training is recognized as a major cause of incidents and injuries and OSHA has an emphasis program on forklift training. SCSC is hosting this informational class (does not qualify for Safety Council Rebate Program credit) to assist your in-house training.

Who should take this class: 

Anyone teaching or planning to teach forklift training. This is a train the trainer class - we will not be training employees to drive a forklift, we will cover what is required to be a trainer.

What you will learn:

• Requirements of a powered industrial truck trainer
• Elements that must be included in the training
• Customizable resources to start your in-house training such as agendas, handouts, knowledge assessments and videos

Cari Gray, CSP, Ohio BWC Safety Consultant and Safety Council Liaison

Cari has been a Safety Consultant with the BWC since May 2005. She works with a diverse range of companies in many different industries, from public entities to a wide variety of private companies. She helps customers evaluate their current safety situations, set goals and create action plans to successfully achieve their goals. She also teaches many safety related classes for the BWC.
