Building a Virtual Osprey
The V-22 Osprey is the world’s first production tiltrotor aircraft. It’s a complex machine, challenging to maintain. How do technicians master the nuances of a craft with the takeoff of a helicopter, speed and range of an airplane, storage of a transport, massive rotors that fold, and wings that rotate? Immersive simulation. Virtual Heroes teamed with Raytheon Intelligence & Space, a Raytheon Technologies business, to give the U.S. Naval Air Systems Command a virtual Osprey maintenance-training system.

Conference: Serious Play
In June Virtual Heroes hosted the Serious Play Conference session Achieving Immersion in Military Maintenance Training. Panelists discussed innovations in immersive simulation for military maintenance trainers and the latest hardware solutions. Marcia Clover
Marcia Clover joined Virtual Heroes in 2012 as a Senior Producer and Program Manager. With over 20 years in the interactive and e-learning industry, Marcia is passionate about leveraging technology and user experience design to deliver effective and impactful learning experiences. Throughout her career, Marcia has designed, developed, and managed many projects, including those in the pharmaceutical, retail, advertising, and real estate industries. Thanks Marcia!
Jordan McCord
Jordan McCord began working with Virtual Heroes in May as a summer digital-marketing intern. Jordan is a rising senior at Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts, where he studies Business and Marketing. He has experience developing marketing campaigns, managing website operations, evaluating analytics, and creating content for social media platforms. Thanks Jordan!
