Discover your God-given gifts.
Where do you belong? In a large parish community like St. Brigid of Kildare, it is sometimes overwhelming to find your “place.” St. Brigid of Kildare has over 50 ministries and committees for you to join and share your talents. No one has been left out, for God has a plan for each life and has equipped each of us to serve.
“As each of you has received a gift (a particular spiritual talent, a gracious divine endowment), employ it for one another….” -Peter 4:10
God has given you these gifts but expects you to nourish them through your own efforts and passions. This virtual Guide to Parish life will hopefully allow you to discover some areas that you can become involved in here at your parish. Being a disciple of Jesus calls us to be a good steward of the gifts God has given us, especially our time and talent. Remember the words of St. Theresa of Avila: “everything we gain comes from what we give.”
