Please note some ministries are unable to operate in their usual capacity at this time due to COVID-19 precautions; however if you are interested in joining a ministry, please still complete the form and the chair will be in contact with you as activities return.

Parish Administration
Parish Steering Committee
The Parish Steering Committee serves as an advisory body to the pastor in his administration of the parish by assisting in the strategic planning for the future of the parish and the establishment of policies. 
Finance Committee
The Finance Committee oversees many of the financial aspects of our parish including the analysis and review of the annual budget, monthly income, expenditure and liability requirements and coordination of all parish fundraising programs in accordance with Diocesan rules.
Tapestry Committee
The Tapestry Program is our annual parish commitment program. Each September, we celebrate volunteerism and invite all parishioners to make a commitment of time, talent and treasure to St. Brigid for the coming year. 
SPiCE (Special People in Catholic Education)
Special People in Catholic Education (SPiCE) was founded to support the education of children with special learning needs in our parish and school. SPiCE volunteers help with fundraising and awareness events, or serve on the SPiCE Advisory Board.
New Parishioner Welcome Committee
The goal of our welcoming committee is to give every new family or individual a sense of belonging and help them become an integral part of our faith community. We personally contact our newest members and invite them to participate in parish life. 
Worship & Spiritual Life
Worship & Spiritual Life Committee
The mission of this committee is to promote and develop an environment for the worship of God and the spiritual life of St. Brigid Parish. 
Liturgical Ministries
Every weekend Mass is planned and celebrated with the support of over 20 lay ministers. Liturgical Ministries includes Liturgical Ministry Captains, Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors, Greeters, Ushers, and Altar Servers.
Church Art & Environment
Committee volunteers ensure that the church is decorated each week according to the season and celebrations of the Church calendar. Volunteers are needed to help water and maintain green plants and altar arrangements each week and to help decorate the Church for Christmas and Easter.
First Friday Devotion & Eucharistic Adoration
On the first Friday of each month, Eucharistic Adoration with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament begins after the 9:00 a.m. Mass and concludes at 5:00 p.m. All are invited to stop by at any time to pray or if you prefer, to commit to a scheduled time for adoration.
Family Rosary
All are invited to come and pray the rosary each Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the church. The Blessed Mother has promised special graces to those that pray the rosary; come and experience the beautiful tradition of praying the rosary with your parish family. Children are welcome.
Holy Wash: Martha’s Ministry
Volunteers collect and carefully wash purificators and other linens used for Masses each week. It is an encounter of holiness in the ordinary, where work becomes prayer and prayer springs from work. 
Music Ministries
Adult Choir
The adult choir sings at the 9:00 a.m. Mass from September through May, and at the 10:00 p.m. Christmas Eve Mass, Palm Sunday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Vigil, Easter Sunday and Confirmation.
Adult Contemporary Group (Brigid’s Gael)
This instrumental and vocal ensemble sings three to four times per month throughout the year at the 10:45 a.m. Mass. 
Children’s Choir
The children’s choir (grades 1-8) sings once each month at the 9:00 a.m. Mass from September through May, as well as for the Christmas Eve Vigil Mass (4:00 p.m.).
Youth Ensemble
The Youth Ensemble is open to 7th – 12th graders who love to sing or play an instrument. Members of the Youth Ensemble serve as cantors, singers and instrumentalists one Sunday a month.
Cantors assist at all weekend Masses by leading through song. They also sing on Feast Days and for Evening Vespers during Advent and Lent. 
Instrumentalists of all ages are encouraged to join existing choirs at Mass.
Sacramental Preparation
Jordan Conference (Child Baptism)
The Jordan Conference couple is trained on the sacrament of Baptism, and in turn will instruct the parents who are seeking to have their child Baptized. The volunteer couples assist the clergy with four to six Baptisms per year.
Couple to Couple
Engaged couples wishing to marry at St. Brigid are assigned to a married couple of the parish. The married couple facilitates discussion of results from the FOCCUS survey completed by the engaged couple.
Married couples wishing to share their commitment to the Sacrament of Matrimony are encouraged to join the Pre-Cana team. This is an opportunity for these couples to strengthen their marriage while ministering with others.
RCIA (Rite of Christian Initation for Adults)
Adults seeking sacramental communion with the Roman Catholic Church will, routinely in most cases, enter the Church through RCIA. It requires attendance at catechetical evenings for upward of six-months or more.
Healing Ministries
Bereavement Luncheon Committee
A group of volunteers prepares and serves a hot meal for the families of parishioners whose funeral is celebrated at St. Brigid of Kildare Parish.
Prayer Chain
Members of the prayer chain receive e-mails regarding specific intentions which parishioners have asked to have remembered in prayer.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
Members of this ministry – individually at home, or as a group in Hendricks Hall – knit, crochet, quilt or sew shawls, lap robes or pillows to be given to parishioners who are sick or homebound, as well as those who are grieving the death of a loved one or another significant loss in their lives.
Visitation to the Sick and Homebound
For those in our parish family who are unable to join us for Mass on Sunday due to an illness or an accident, we have a committed group of volunteers who bring the Eucharist to them.
Older Adults Program
The Older Adults Program through Syntero helps parishioners who need services and don’t know where to go. Additionally, this program offers support to caregivers of older adults.
Saint Brigid of Kildare School
Home & School Association
The Home & School Association is a parent-run organization with the purpose of enriching the Catholic School experience for Saint Brigid of Kildare students and staff by supporting our school’s mission statement, building a strong sense of community spirit, and expressing appreciation to those committed to our school.
School Advisory Committee
The purpose of this Committee is to provide the Saint Brigid of Kildare Parish Pastor and administrators of Saint Brigid of Kildare School with counsel and advise regarding certain issues affecting the school.
Religious Education
Religious Ed Teachers & Volunteers
We have an experienced staff of catechists including teachers and teacher's aides. Additional volunteer opportunities include hall monitors and childcare, which are needed weekly when classes are in-person (however all classes are virtual for the 2020-21 school year).
Religious Education Advisory Council
The mission of Religious Education Advisory Council is to plan for the ongoing faith formation needs of our community. Members represent not only the Religious Education families, but are also liasons from many other parish committees.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is a summer day camp that offers children a safe and fun environment where they can come to know the traditions and grow in their love of the Catholic faith through elements of faith, music, service, craft, games and snack. Many volunteers are needed to make VBS happen!
Children's Liturgy of the Word
In a typical year, during the 9:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Sunday Masses, the children of the congregation are invited to gather and are then escorted to the undercroft where they will listen to the Liturgy of the Word. Training is available for those who love children and wish to share the Gospel with them. (Please note this ministry is not currently active due to COVID-19).
Youth Ministry
Middle School Youth Group (EPIC)
Saint Brigid of Kildare’s Middle School Youth Group is designed for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students from St. Brigid School, Grizzell, Karrer, Sells, and other local schools. Middle School Youth Ministry meets for worship, fellowship, and service throughout the academic year.
High School Youth Ministry
High School Youth Ministry invites all high school students, grades 9-12, to join us for faith formation, fellowship, & service! The goal of St. Brigid high school youth ministry is to lead high school youth and their parents to encounter Christ and to equip them to live as life-long disciples.
Adult Faith Education
Bible Study
During the year Bible Study will be offered to men and women in the evening. These are usually 4-6 weeks, one evening a week. They are meant for those who are not able to commit themselves to a year-long program. Many different bible studies are offered throughout the year, including men's bible studies, women's bible studies, and small group gatherings.
Thursday Group (previously Tuesday Morning Group)
In a typical year, this discussion group meets weekly on Thursdays and explores topics which cover a spectrum of Catholic life.
Pause for Prayer
Join us in taking a pause for prayer on Monday nights from 7-7:15 PM via Zoom. This series is a visual and audio presentation of “Be still and know that I am God” Ps 46:10.
Parish Life
55 Plus Club
All adults over 55, married or single, are invited to join this group. In a typical year, the group meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 1:30 p.m. in Hendricks Hall.
Athletic Association (SBAA)
Under the guidelines of the Diocesan Recreation Program, St. Brigid of Kildare offers fourth through eighth graders of registered parish families an opportunity to participate in athletics. 
Children’s Play Group
The Children’s Play Group is a community of parents and children, including babies, toddlers and preschoolers, who enjoy making new friends, supporting each other and exploring the Dublin/Columbus area. 
CREW (Catholics Ready, Eager and Willing)
Throughout the year, there are many times that we could use your hands to help make a difference here at St. Brigid of Kildare. CREW is a list of parishioners who are ready, eager and willing to help around our campus and during special events.
Family First
Family First is a ministry of St. Brigid of Kildare Parish that seeks to empower parents in their roles as leaders in the home/domestic church. Family First offers insight into all stages of child development and Catholic parenting as well as marriage enrichment.
Knights of Columbus
The St. Brigid Council was formed in 1992 and now has over 200 members contributing to the many projects we do for our parish and community. The Knights of Columbus offer a year-round opportunity to serve and become engaged at St. Brigid with events that support church, community, family, youth and fraternal life at our parish.
Men’s Spirituality Group
Men’s Spirituality Group’s purpose is to awaken, renew and grow the Catholic Spirituality of St. Brigid men. This includes the Annual Retreat, Coffee & Prayer (first and third Saturday of each month) and other Catholic faith opportunities for men of our parish.
St. Brigid is home to Cub Scout Pack 117 (grades 1-5), Boy Scout Troop 117 (grades 6-high school), and Girl Scouts (grades K-8).
Social Action Committee
The Social Action Committee was the first established committee of the parish and is the avenue by which our parish has helped those in need in our community and the world. Their mission is to coordinate programs and donations for alleviating human suffering and outreach targeting to the needy in the parish community, the Dublin area and Greater Columbus area. 
Sunshine Committee
This group of volunteers offer support to parish families who are experiencing illness or injuries. In addition, they help those who have had a baby to celebrate the arrival. They provide home cooked dinners and can be available for other services as needed.
That Man is You!
That Man is You! is an interactive men’s program combining the best research from science with the teachings of the Catholic faith and the wisdom of the saints to develop the vision of a man fully alive.
Volunteer Appreciation Committee
The parish celebrates and thanks those adult volunteers who volunteer at St. Brigid with a casual evening of food, fun and dancing. Volunteers are needed to plan and put on this fun event.
Young Adult Ministry
Young Adult Ministry, typically for young adults ages 19-35, will meet throughout the year for faith formation studies, service opportunities, and social gatherings.
