We are observing National Poppy Day® virtually!
We’re safely staying in our homes on National Poppy Day this year, but it doesn’t mean we can’t participate in an event to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice. On May 22 at Noon EDT, join members of The American Legion Family as we commemorate the symbol behind the storied poppy and its relevance today. Visit our
Facebook page
to learn more about this event.

Quarantine won't stop us from honoring our nation's heroes this Memorial Day
We know Memorial Day will be different this year. We may not have large gatherings or services, but we can still honor the men and women who lost their lives defending our freedoms. This year, consider hosting events or activities virtually or at an acceptable distance. Now is a great time to use social media. Consider posting pictures of those you wish to honor and remember on Memorial Day, or ask those who were going to participate in your service to record a message from their home.
