Dear graduate students,

The Office of Graduate Student Life welcomes you to Boston College. (If you didn't receive our first message earlier this month, check it out here).

We hope you are excited about beginning graduate school and joining our community. Our office serves as one of the many resources you will have access to during your graduate student years.

One resource we would like to call your attention to is our Virtual New Graduate and Professional Student Orientation, which is available now in your Canvas dashboard.

New students should complete the Orientation modules by September 13.

This virtual orientation is self-guided and designed for all incoming graduate students. The modules are intended to help prepare you for your graduate student journey and introduce you to key resources at the University. Your individual school may also be in touch with orientation information for your specific academic program.

Instructions for accessing the Orientation can be found below. You may view the modules any time and at your own pace, and they will take about 60-90 minutes to complete.

The first 500 new students who complete all modules and the survey at the end by September 13 will receive a BC tumbler and will be entered into several prize drawings. The prizes include: Beats Noise Cancelling Headphones (3 available), $50 BC Bookstore gift cards (5 available), and a variety of BC gear.

Welcome to graduate school!

Sincerely,

Office of Graduate Student Life
