Dear OFC Families,

We have an exciting two weeks of programming to support LGBTQ+ families through these challenging times. As I sit with my kids pondering upcoming decisions about school and daycare, I'm glad I have a community of LGBTQ+ parents surrounding me.

Join me tonight for parenting respite with Shani Thornton. Shani is a certified life child specialist and has provided our families with advice on how to talk with our kids about COVID-19. Tonight's session is geared for LGBTQ+ parents and caregivers to relax, unwind, and center together.

We change gears on Friday night with Crys Matthews & Heather Mae as they perform live for OFC families incorporating social justice into music. This free concert is designed to make us as families reap the benefits of a summer concert safely at home. Crys and Heather will stick around after the 1 hour concert to answer our questions as well. Don't miss this exciting, one of a kind, concert opportunity.

As we continue to craft and deliver our family programming, know that we have one thing in mind; you! We're here to provide programming that can help you parent through a pandemic; from our weekly story times, to body movement, dance, virtual field trips and our first completely online ASL baby sign series led by a Deafqueer, preschool instructor.

We are here for you, bringing you collaborations that uplift our diverse and expansive experience within the LGBTQ+ community. Remember to RSVP and get your access info. We hope to "see" you soon.
