Artist Talk with Levi Rickert & Virtual Tour Premiere Thursday We invite you to join us this Thursday, February 18, for the second in a series of three weekly virtual Q&A talks with Native American Artists and virtual exhibition tours featuring their work.

The videos in this series will premiere at www.muskegonartmuseum.org event pages, but will continue to be available on the Muskegon Museum of Art YouTube channel afterward. Registration is not required.

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 18 Artist Talk with Levi Rickert and Virtual Tour Virtual Exhibition Tour: Levi Rickert: Standing Rock, Photographs of an Indigenous Movement Virtual Q&A Artist Talk with Jason Quigno @ 4:00 pm Join us here at 4:00 pm on February 18 for a Q & A style talk with photographer Levi Rickert, produced by the Muskegon Museum of Art in conjunction with Levi Rickert: Standing Rock, Photographs of an Indigenous Movement, an exhibition of recent work by the artist on display at the Muskegon Museum of Art. A virtual tour video of the exhibition will be available all day. You may also see the exhibition in person at the Muskegon Museum of Art through February 28. About Levi Rickert Levi Rickert (Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation) is the founder, publisher and editor of Native News Online. This collection of photographs documents Rickert’s journey to Standing Rock in 2016 as part of the Dakota Access Pipeline protests. These images capture not just the news making conflicts and clashes between protestors and private security firms at the site but also the day to day experiences of the men and women joined in their shared call for action.
