Please join the Pine Bluff (AR) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated for the next session in the 2022-2023 virtual umbrella series Preparing our Community for Success.
The second session in the series entitled "Taking Care of our Mental Health" will be Thursday, November 17, 2022, at 7 pm (CST).
The presenter will be Kimberly D. Key-Bell, MSW, LCSW, who serves as the Assistant Deputy Director of Treatment for the Arkansas Division of Youth Services. She also has a private practice, Haven Counseling and Consulting, where she provides individual, family and group therapy and consultation services. She is often sought after as a mental health professional in Central Arkansas and travels across the country speaking on issues related to mental health.
Kim has worked in Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Community Social work since completing her Bachelor and Master’s Degrees in Social Work at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She is dedicated to dispelling the myths about mental illness and substance abuse recovery that routinely keep people -- often minorities, people of color, the impoverished, and the uninsured -- bound and untreated.
