March 2019

'Just love' Gathering 2020 logo and theme remind us that we are all part of one body
Following Jesus is messy. Loving one another is justice. We are not perfect, we are often broken, sometimes we don’t fit. Sometimes our edges are rough—but we are one body in Christ.

The 2020 Gathering theme was unveiled at the Conference of Presidents, Feb. 22-24, along with the art accompanying the theme. You can learn about the artist's interpretation here.

Cafe faith reflection:
Belonging to the body of Christ
If one member suffers, all suffer together with it; if one member is honored, all rejoice together with it. Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.
(1 Corinthians 12:26-27)

How can we work together, with our abilities and disabilities, to strengthen our lives together as followers of Christ? Find out here.
Go deeper into Lent
The season of Lent starts with Ash Wednesday, which falls on March 6 this year. As children, we might have given up some small treat for Lent, but as adults, we can take on richer spiritual practices. We can go deeper into Lent. We can keep Lent as a time to renew our lives of faith.
