Set Your Feng Shui Intentions:
A Vision Board Says it All

I’ve done lots of vision boards over the years and know their power. Yet over and over I am amazed at how they come together and how they capture an essence or message. Working with images and colors and shapes enabled me to translate my goals for the year into another language—-one that was more from the heart.

If you’ve never done a visioning exercise, it’s an engaging process. You need old magazines, scissors, glue and a board or a series of cards. Set an intention and allow yourself some time. Continue reading for practical things learned about the process of creating your vision into a 2-dimensional expression.

Quick Tip #1 Anyone Can Do It

Think you aren't creative? Don't know where to start? Think it's not the right time to make one?

Nonsense.

Vision boards can be as simple as cutting images and words that mean something to you out of a magazine and gluing onto a board or paper. Pick images and phrases that are empowering and positive, that give you a glimpse into what you want and where you want to be. Keep your eye and mind on those images as often as possible, and watch the universe get you there.

Three Powerful Tips: Manifest Your Dreams with a Feng Shui Vision Board

When you make a Vision Board you send the universe powerful signals so it can help you manifest your dreams and desires. Magnify the power of a Vision Board by making it even more intentional with Feng Shui.

Just as Feng Shui brings together the visible and invisible worlds, the simple act of selecting meaningful pictures and resonant phrases to paste on a Vision Board brings your inner life closer to reality in the “real world.”

Quick Tip #2 Place your vision board prominently

You won’t get very far if you can’t see where you’re going.

That’s why it’s vital that you make sure you place your board where you see it prominently and often. This will help to encourage you and keep you focused on what you want in life and where you want your goals to take you.

Spotlight Feng Shui School Interview

About the Feng Shui School of Chicago from director and founder, Laurie Pawli…

Q: Please describe your very first coming into awareness about Feng Shui.
A: It was truly an “AhHa” moment which I remember so clearly as a turning point in my life. Feng Shui was being discussed during a 2 hour PBS special and after seeing the program, I was absolutely, positively “hooked.” It mirrored a reflection of who I am as a person… a focus on balanced design & helping others achieve their goals in life. I followed up with a 6 hour class and then received my Certification. The rest is history!.
