Vision Keene 20-Forward Comprehensive Master Plan Community Update

The Comprehensive Master Planning (CMP) process is moving fast and there are still many ways that you can add your ideas to the plan. Several engagement opportunities are coming up soon so mark your calendars and save the dates! Here are a few things to watch for in the next few weeks:

The Strategic Pillar Task Forces have been meeting monthly from January – March. These meetings will finish up the week of March 24th.

Save the Date: June 3 Future Summit

Save the Date for the presentation of the final draft of the Vision Keene 20-Forward Comprehensive Master Plan at a Future Summit at 5pm on June 3rd, 2025. Location: Keene Public Library.

Vision Keene Discussion Boards Closing End of March

Discussion Boards will be open on the project portal until March 31. Make sure to add your thoughts to the Strategic Pillars of the CMP! If you prefer to mail or call in your ideas, print a comment card and mail it to us (Community Development, 3 Washington Street, Keene NH 03431) or call us at (603) 352-5440.

Vision Keene - Incorporating Younger Perspectives on the Future

City staff has been working with young people to incorporate their perspectives into the CMP planning process. Students from the Middle School, High School, and Keene State College are providing their input into this Comprehensive Master Plan. Watch for an upcoming newsletter on what they said!

Also Incoming:

The hard work from the Task Forces, research, and public input gathered thus far will be incorporated into the CMP and illustrated in an online StoryMap. The StoryMap will be published in early April and will include a short survey for the public to provide input on the planning.

The planning team is working on an updated Future Land Use Map that will lay out the aspirations of the community. Watch for this map in early May!
