This Week

This week, our Clear Vision Workplaces program expands its Williams Sonoma partnership in Bangladesh, we share insights with students in India, and we introduce a global organizational calendar!

Got something to celebrate? Let us know!

Goal 1: Growth & Impact

Expanding Vision Care With Williams Sonoma

On January 6th, we screened the vision of workers at Zaber & Zubayer Ltd., a Dhaka-based textile mill that is affiliated with William Sonoma Inc. (WSI). This means that Bangladesh joins India and Vietnam as the third country in which we work with WSI manufacturers.

The management team at the factory were highly satisfied with our Clear Vision Workplaces program, and we have agreed to connect with a further 6,000 textile workers.

Anshu Shares VisionSpring's Story to Inspire Future Social Sector Professionals

Last week, Anshu Taneja (Managing Director, VisionSpring India) was given the opportunity to inspire students at the Indian School of Development Management (ISDM). ISDM regularly invites social enterprise leaders to share their life journey, challenges, and insights with their students.

Anshu spoke of his career path and work at VisionSpring, as well as the impact we have as an organization on communities across India. He shared his insights with a diverse group of 92 students — they stemmed from 22 different states and spoke more than 40 languages combined!

VisionSpring Extends Commitment to Inclusive Eyecare in India

The All India Institute Of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) recently organized a meeting to enhance the strength and inclusivity of the country's primary eyecare services.

VisionSpring was invited to share insights with other NGOs and find new ways to improve eye health initiatives. A big thank you to Rakesh Mattoo (Senior Manager, Government Partnerships) for representing us at the gathering.
