CULTURAL TOURISM GRANTS

Visit Canton and ArtsinStark awarded an additional $123,295 in Cultural Tourism Grants to 16 Stark County organizations. To date, $342,359 in Cultural Tourism Grants has been awarded to 28 Stark County organizations for 2023 applications.

SALES ACTIVITIES

Our VP of Sales, Mary Vlahos, will be attending the Sports ETA Symposium in Kansas City, March 8th-11th. The Sports ETA Symposium is the annual meeting of the Sports Events & Tourism Association, the non-profit trade association for the sports events and tourism industry since 1992. Throughout the week, sports destinations meet with hundreds of decision-makers responsible for organizing sports events.


Mary will be meeting with event owners from all over the country that own the rights to various sports including representatives from the US Olympic Sports Competition. The goal is to bring these events to Stark County sports facilities. Leads will be posted in the partner extranet at the conclusion of the Symposium.
