Dan O'Connell Announces Retirement
after 33 Years at Visit Fort Wayne

Current President/CEO Dan O’Connell announced his retirement, effective December 31, 2021, after 33 years at Visit Fort Wayne.
"It has been an honor and privilege to have worked with so many wonderful people over the years,” says O’Connell. “I’ve seen our city and county grow into a major destination for conventions, tradeshows, tournaments, and leisure visitors. It's been great to be a part of it.”
Board President Kelly Updike adds, “We as a community are grateful for Dan’s leadership and vision in growing Visit Fort Wayne into a tourism powerhouse. It is now important for us as the board of directors to continue Dan’s fine legacy by finding the best person possible to lead Visit Fort Wayne in its next chapter.”

Visit Fort Wayne is excited to announce the addition of Jazmin Zavala as our new Sports Sales Manager.
Jazmin will bring her knowledge and expertise to our team with her background in sales and personal experiences with sports and events. She will work with national sports events, selling Fort Wayne as a competitive destination for their tournaments and events.

Savor Fort Wayne restaurant week returns January 12 - 23, 2022!
Registration is now available for restaurants who are interested in participating in Savor Fort Wayne 2022. Sign up here, or f or more information contact Emily Stuck at emily@visitfortwayne.com or 260-424-3700. Restaurant registration will run through mid-December.
All participating restaurants will have their name and menu featured on SavorFortWayne.com which sees over 700,000 pageviews over the course of the event!

This digital display features community-submitted photos displayed in a collage format, providing a vibrant, diverse selection of Fort Wayne photography.
