Dhanurmasa / Marghasirsha / Margazhli is a favorite month for Shree Krishna. He himself has described this in Bhagavad Gita. This month has great spiritual significance which starts with Margashirsha Shukla Ekadashi and extends up to the end of Dakshinayana (start on December 16, 2022 and will continue until January 15, 2023). 



On this special devotional month, devotees wake up Lord Krishna in the serene early hours of the morning by singing the 30 pasuras of Thiruppavai, offer bhog/naivedya, perform the pooja and Aarti to Lord Krishna and Goda Devi. Join the special Dhanurmas pooja during the Margsheersh month. Temple darshan will open daily from 6.00 to 7.20 AM. Devotees are welcome to bring fruits, flowers and other prasad items.

The divine wedding of Shree Krishna with God Devi will take place on January 15, 2023. 

The UN designated November 30, 2022 as a day to help raise awareness for children’s well-being around the world. Many people don’t realize how many children in our own community need help. The Samaritan Inn provides shelter to around 50 kids per night. ACO and Hope Supply also help families and children who are going through difficult times. 

The Radha Krishna Temple of Dallas (Allen) is proud to support these organizations through our Little Hands Big Hearts program. We invite community members to participate in one of many ways:

1. Donate new or gently used items from a list of children’s essential items
2. Sponsor a large quantity bulk donation
3. Serve as a drop-off point for the collection drive
4. Become an ambassador and ask friends and family to donate

Any and all donations will be distributed to one of the partner organizations – Hope Supply, Allen Community Outreach, or the Samaritan Inn. The drive will run through January 15, 2023.
