If you are lucky enough to visit the Sebastian River Area in March, you’re in for a treat! The first Friday of the month begins with a free Concert in the Park featuring live entertainment playing all the classic favs. Food vendors and free raffles complete the family-friendly event held at Riverview Park. After that, grab your sneakers and participate in American Icon Breweries 5K Run for Beer and be rewarded at the finish line with locally made craft beer and more. St. Patrick’s Day weekend will have you eating succulent shrimp and sampling craft brew from several different Florida breweries including Sebastian's own Pareidolia Brewing Co. and Mash Monkeys Brewing Co.. You may even get a sudden urge to shave your head for charity! And, when there isn’t a special event going on, all you need to do is meander down the main drag along the Indian River Lagoon to find a variety of restaurants, live music, DJ’s, trivia night, karaoke, or a quiet space with an incredible view. You’ll be tempted to stop everywhere so give yourself plenty of time to enjoy all the hidden gems. Keep scrolling and visit the Pelican Porch Visitor's Center for more details.
