READY FOR HIS CLOSEUP --
It only comes once every four years, so why not celebrate Leap Day with our little "leaper," Roodolph? Come into our Waterloo store on Saturday, Feb. 29, and see our newest baby kangaroo. Cedar Falls store renovation
|
Changes are happening at Hansen's Dairy Cedar Falls! Thanks for your patience as we move forward with renovation of the entire building and stay open in the process. When complete (this summer), we will have hard-dip ice cream treats, multiple quick food options, extra seating and new gas pumps, along with more of the local food and convenience items you need. It will be an exciting year!

Rhonda McBride
of Waterloo.
Rhonda and her family have been enjoying Hansen's Dairy products for about 10 years now. They typically shop at Hansen's Dairy Waterloo.
"My youngest loves the little play area at the Waterloo store and my oldest really likes the Coffee Ice Cream," Rhonda says.

Cow of the Month

The February Cow of the Month loves human attention, even if she looks at you a little cock-eyed sometimes.
Applicious
is 3 years old, and has given birth just once so far. She's due with her second calf on April 25. While she is an average milk producer, she really shines in the butterfat category, with a whopping 4.6% fat. The herd average is about 3.7%.
Applicious holds her head a little crooked, so sometimes it looks like she is skeptical of humans. But she is quite friendly and nice to work with. Keep your head held high, Applicious!

Super Simple Alfredo
Total prep/cook time:
30 min
Serves: 4 or more
Ingredients
- 1 lb. Beeler's Breakfast Sausage*
- 8 oz Westby Sour Cream*
- 1/2 - 1 cup Hansen's Dairy Milk* (depending on how thick you like your sauce)
- 1 cup Bongards shredded mozzarella cheese*
- Westby Parmesan Cheese*
- 1/2 medium onion, chopped**
- Rolling Hills Spring Greens*

Directions
- Brown Beeler's sausage in large skillet (10-12 inches) or 5-6 quart stock pot on medium heat until fully cooked.
- Add chopped onion and saute 3-4 minutes.
- Add Westby sour cream and Hansen's milk, stirring occasionally until heated (about 5 minutes). Add Bongards mozzarella cheese and stir until melted.
- Spoon sauce over bed of Rolling Hills Spring Greens.
- Top with Westby Parmesan Cheese and enjoy!
