WORLDS FINEST OPTICAL FILTERS ACROSS THE SPECTRUM

SPIE Optics & Photonics exhibition is the best opportunity to connect face-to-face for discussions about optical engineering and applications. Visit us in booth #435, to discuss your specific product requirements.

The Vision Shows are the most exciting and comprehensive place to learn about innovations in automated vision and imaging today. Come learn how the leading companies in the industry are breaking new ground; from the sensor to the processor, from the cable to the camera, from the software to the illumination system, to complete machine vision systems and much, much more. Visit us at one or both shows!

PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT: Optical Filters for SWIR

LEARN MORE

Improvements in light sources and detection for the range between 1000nm to 3000nm have allowed for the use of SWIR wavelengths in a number of remote-sensing applications. Chroma’s filters are produced on high-quality/low-cost substrates that remain insusceptible to industrial, atmospheric, or astronomic environments. Most of these filters will be listed in our “MV”, Machine-Vision, filter category.

Take a look at Chroma Technology's recent webinar, “Multispectral Imaging in the SWIR with Optical Filters”, presented by John Atkinson at the Vision Spectra 2022 conference. John’s research demonstrates the immense, practical value of optical filters in providing a more cost-effective solution in machine vision systems to hyperspectral imaging.

Chroma Technology Supports Local Schools with

Science Grant and Scholarships

Bellows Falls Middle School received significant support this spring which enabled hands-on science with an over $9000 grant, providing a set of 15 microscopes, the associated slides, sample preparation materials, books, and other educational materials. The Chroma Technology grant includes several phases to the program with the first phase of the donation of the Swift Binocular Compound Microscope SW350B, with 40X-2500X magnification, camera, and software as well as Hayear 14MP digital LED microscopes that connect directly to the student's computers.

COMMUNITY

We are excited to announce the results of our 3rd annual 2:1 match program. Employee-owners of Chroma and 89 North are encouraged to donate any amount to local non-profits working to benefit their community through any activity or service, which Chroma doubles and donates in that employee’s name. This year Chroma has donated $21,433 to 44 unique organizations! Thank you to all the employee-owners who supported your local community!
