Recipes for September

Keeping up with the Hispanic Heritage Month theme, we have two dishes from Latin America. The first is a spicy chicken dish that will keep you making more. The next is a savory dish with lots of flavors. Throw in as much shrimp as you like.

Peruvian-Style Drumsticks with Spicy Green Sauce

Lots of ingredients in this one but the end result is a memorable dish you will sure to keep making.

Sheet Pan Seafood and Chorizo Paella

This Spanish staple is easy to prepare. You might have most of the ingredients already in your home. You'll be asked to keep preparing this throughout the Holidays.

Project Open Hand serves lunches 5 days a week, Monday through Friday at 66 Raymond Ave. Meals are FREE. Seniors may give a $2 donation, but it is not required. Non-seniors and visitors are required to pay $6 per meal.
