Dear Family and Friends of Tabor Village:
Update On Visitation
Due to the rising case numbers of COVID-19 at Tabor Home, we have made the difficult decision to postpone all video chats and window visits until further notice. As previously mentioned, this is an ever-evolving situation that we are doing our very best to get a hold of and contain. In an effort to move the containment along a little faster, we need to re-think staff allocation, as we focus in on physical distancing.
In order for video chats and window visits to take place, staff need to be in and out of resident rooms accommodating this and/or bringing residents out of their units to the front dining room area for a window visit. Sadly, none of these options are able to occur for the time being as we try to contain the outbreak and limit the spread of the virus by reducing movement around the building.
For the sake of your loved ones and our staff, we must make this difficult, but temporary decision to postpone these methods of communication. In the meantime, we highly encourage you to make use of our online system of sending a letter and some photos, which we will print and deliver in a safe and secure manor.
As much as this hurts our hearts, we know it hurts yours and your loved ones more. We recognize that and from the bottom of our hearts, we are so very sorry for this difficult time and these hard decisions.
All we can do at this point is pray. There is power in prayer and we're choosing to believe that if we make the tough calls now, the sooner we will get back to being COVID-FREE.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out any time to
