If you'd like to join us and participate in person, fill out a speaker slip by the entrance to the Council Chambers and hand it to the Clerk at the dais. You'll be given 3 minutes to share your thoughts on any agenda item or during the public comments section.

For those who prefer to participate from home, the City of Vista offers the option of attending Council meetings via Zoom. Request to speak about agenda items or any other topic during the public comment section of the meeting. Detailed instructions for using Zoom can be found on the first page of the agenda. You'll also have 3 minutes to express your views in this format.

While you can still watch our meetings on the City's YouTube channel, please be aware that you won't have the option to make public comments through this platform.

Public Comment Prior to the Meeting: To submit a comment in writing, email PublicComments@vista.gov and write the item number and/or title of the item in the subject line. Oral comments will also be accepted by leaving a message at 760.643.2815. Please include your name and the spelling, as well as the item number or title of the item you wish to speak about.

Viewing Meetings Online

City Council meetings are broadcast live on the City's YouTube channel. Past meetings are archived on YouTube. To view and participate in the meeting live via Zoom, click on View Zoom Meeting.

The City Council is the governing body of the Vista Municipal Government. It sets City policy, adopts City ordinances and resolutions, and reviews and approves all major policy matters, fiscal concerns, and City projects.

The City Council also serves as the governing body of the Buena Sanitation District (BSD), the Community Development Commission (CDC), the Successor Agency to the Vista Redevelopment Agency (SA), and the Joint Powers Financing Authority (JPFA).

Si desea unirse a nosotros y participar en persona, rellene un formulario de orador junto a la entrada de las Cámaras del Consejo y entrégueselo al Secretario en el estrado. Dispondrá de 3 minutos para compartir sus opiniones sobre cualquier punto del orden del día o durante la sección de comentarios del público.

Para aquellos que prefieren participar desde casa, la Ciudad de Vista ofrece la opción de asistir a las reuniones del Consejo a través de Zoom. Solicite hablar sobre los puntos del orden del día o cualquier otro tema durante la sección de comentarios del público de la reunión. Encontrará instrucciones detalladas para utilizar Zoom en la primera página del orden del día. También dispondrá de 3 minutos para expresar sus opiniones en este formato.

Comentarios públicos previos a la reunión: Para enviar un comentario por escrito, envíe un correo electrónico a PublicComments@vista.gov e indique el número y/o el título del punto en el asunto. También se aceptarán comentarios orales dejando un mensaje en el 760.643.2815. Incluya su nombre y cómo se escribe, así como el número o el título del punto sobre el que desea hablar.

Reuniones en línea

Las reuniones del Ayuntamiento se retransmiten en directo en el canal de YouTube de la ciudad. Las reuniones anteriores se archivan en YouTube. Para ver y participar en la reunión en directo a través de Zoom, haga clic en Ver Reunión Zoom.

El Ayuntamiento es el órgano de gobierno del Gobierno Municipal de Vista. Establece la política de la ciudad, adopta las ordenanzas y resoluciones de la ciudad, y revisa y aprueba todos los asuntos importantes de política, asuntos fiscales y proyectos de la ciudad.

El Consejo de la Ciudad también sirve como el órgano de gobierno del Distrito de Saneamiento Buena (BSD), la Comisión de Desarrollo Comunitario (CDC), la Agencia Sucesora de la Agencia de Reurbanización de Vista (SA), y la Autoridad de Financiación de Poderes Conjuntos (JPFA).
