The organisers of the 2016 British Rally Championship have announced that Vital Equipment Ltd have been awarded the contract to supply fuel to all competitors in both the BRC and the NRC.
The Herefordshire based company bring with them seven years’ experience as official fuel suppliers to the World Rally Championship as well as their involvement in the BTRDA and Scottish Rally Championships. They will be responsible for the whole refuelling process at every round of the Championship, providing the facilities, controlling access to them and dealing with all relevant licencing and insurance, ensuring there is one less issue for both organisers and competitors to worry about.
Welcoming their appointment, Vital Equipment MD Alistair Roberts commented, “There is a buzz around the relaunched BRC that I haven’t experienced in British stage rallying for a few seasons now. We are all motorsport fans at Vital Equipment and we are all looking forward to being involved in a re-vitalised series.”
Vital Equipment will be offering two types of fuel:
102 Oct Turbo Ultimate DEV2: £3.13 / ltr exc VAT 98 Oct Hiperflo Super Plus: £1.35 / ltr exc VAT
Fuel is now available to order for testing and Alistair says it can be delivered to competitors’ premises within days.
Vital Equipment are also setting up an on-line ordering facility for the Championship rounds and Alistair emphasised that it will be essential for competitors to place their fuel orders by the deadlines shown on the web site to ensure there is sufficient fuel available for them when they get to events.
