McCarthy is hosting this full day workshop, ideal for your HR and safety people, along with supervisors and managers. There are two propositions that will be on Arizona's ballot in the upcoming November election whose outcomes could have major impacts on businesses/employers in the state. Proposition 205 is the Recreational Tax of Marijuana Act, legalizing the recreational use and sale of marijuana with significant changes to employment practices surrounding enforcement of drug testing programs. Proposition 206 is promoted as a Minimum Wage Law but contains concerning language and requirements for Paid Sick Time for Arizona employees that could create major challenges for employers.
