 Message from the President

Hello there! Thank you so much for taking a few moments to read our newest column in Voice for Business and allowing me to connect with you, our valued investor and partner. Each week, I'll share some of the ways the Chamber creates value and engagement for your company as well as a few thoughts on the “moment”. These have been unprecedented times of challenge and opportunity for our community, and through experience gained and lessons learned, we will all “arrive” better.

The Chamber prides itself on being an important partner of our community through our advocacy. We work in a non-partisan way, every day, connecting with local groups and leaders elected throughout our city and the region, to make sure business is thriving and policies don’t adversely affect the business environment. In an increasingly divisive political environment, open and honest communication is the key to Greeley continuing to be the best place to do business.

Another point of pride for the Chamber are the connections we provide. While some of our large scale, in person networking events have been impacted, we have continued to bring value, via Zoom, to our investors, through our Leads Groups, Chamber Coffees, Ambassador committee and other programs designed to connect and market your business. We will continue to bring resources like our COVID resources page, regional resource connections, grants and funding options and communications. We are blazing a trail forward as we continue to bring every member our varied programs and services that contribute to a stronger business community.

We are evolving, and the Chamber is committed to helping our businesses thrive during this time. We are excited to announce, next week, we will be launching "Hello Greeley" a short Monday morning video where we'll share what's happening next in our community.

We appreciate your investment in the Greeley Area Chamber of Commerce. I know for certain with the leadership and engagement of our community and board, the hard work and adaptation of the Chamber team and most importantly, the resilience of our investors, there is nothing we cannot do or overcome together!

In closing, please remember to cast your ballot before 7pm on Tuesday by dropping it off at your nearest ballot box. It is not about you or me....it is about us!

Holiday Lane at Island Grove Entry Forms & Sponsorships Available

What a year 2020 has been for all of us! We recently made the heart-wrenching decision to postpone the 2020 Greeley Lights the Night parade as managing social distancing of the crowds along 9th Avenue watching the parade go by is something that just isn’t possible!

So…..we have pivoted and created a brand new event for 2020 – Holiday Lane at Island Grove on the evenings of Friday, November 27th and Saturday, November 28th!  We are currently inviting businesses, organizations, schools and clubs to participate by decorating a 20’x 35’ piece of grass along the loop at Island Grove with their favorite holiday décor and static displays! It will be a great way to showcase who they are as this will be a “one stop shop” for families out enjoying the holiday lights!  Instead of the parade going down the street, our residents and visitors will drive by the displays and start a new Greeley holiday tradition from the comfort of their own cars!

This event is Generously Supported by Art Guttersen and Family!
