Ambassador Update
The 2020 Chamber Annual Dinner & Awards, presented by Banner Health / North Colorado Medical Center, took place on February 20 th with a fun Roaring 20’s theme. We enjoyed time to connect with business leaders over excellent food provided by our friends at JBS and Kenny's Steak House and Catering by Kenny's.

Attendees enjoyed socializing, gathering goodies from the swag table, filling up baggies from the Candy Lane, and a photo booth to show off their 20’s attire. This year’s event highlighted past and present Board Members, sponsors of all types, and award winners.

Incoming Board Chair, Scott Warner – Connecting Point CEO, shared reflections on 2019 and what lies ahead in 2020.

Scott addressed the audience beginning with a personal note: “I am the President & CEO of Connecting Point, a 35-year old Greeley-based IT firm, family owned and operated and a proud business owner, investor and stakeholder in the Chamber. Not just as the board Chair, but speaking as a member, I am excited for what’s to come and what our future holds.”

“I am fortunate to have a stake in this city’s success. There are so many exciting moves being made in Greeley. Our organization is moving on the leading edge of cultivating high-quality next generation leaders, I have confidence that letting the best and brightest do their thing, will lead to a great result through programs like our Leadership Weld County and the transformation of our Engage | A Young Professionals Network. Our role as an advocate on policy issues will set us up for success and our continued work on being a workforce champion is what’s next for our organization.”

As the President and CEO of such an amazing organization I too am excited about what’s to come and proud to be part of such a strong, supportive community.

To the Great that awaits!
