Get Inclusive: Voices for Change is an online training program designed to promote a healthier and safer online and campus environment for everyone. This program covers important topics such as students' rights and responsibilities; understanding and preventing sexual misconduct through bystander intervention; understanding alcohol and other drugs; and acting as allies for others in need. This program is just one part of our commitment to these topics. During your time as a student at GCCCD we invite you to engage in an array of activities and programs that offer further exploration of bystander intervention, understanding sexual violence myths, risk reduction centered approaches to alcohol and other drugs, among others.
The Student Code of Conduct and Disciplinary Procedures provides information regarding standards of conduct for all students. The Code of Conduct identifies the following as a violation, "Unlawful possession, use, sale, offer to sell, or furnishing, or being under the influence of, any controlled substance listed in California Health and Safety Code Sections 11053 et seq., an alcoholic beverage, or an intoxicant of any kind; or unlawful possession of, or offering, arranging, or negotiating the sale of any drug paraphernalia, as defined in California Health and Safety Code Section 11014.5" and identifies possible sanctions.
