We appreciate your interest in our organization and our mission; to help fund the ongoing research to find a cure for cancer. This newsletter is for sharing our most recent news, our upcoming events, and ways that you can help. See our past news here. As long as there is research to be done, our voices of hope will sing out for the cure!

Children of Eden

VOH is thrilled to present Children of Eden Saturday, May 6th, at North Shore Music Theater!

Allow yourself to be transported to the beginning of creation, when Voices of Hope presents the beloved musical for all ages.

This family-friendly production was created by musical theater greats Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin, Godspell) and John Caird (Les Miserables, Nicholas Nickleby).

Children of Eden uses familiar Biblical characters to examine the love between parent and child, and how growing up can bring equal measures of joy and heartache.  It ultimately delivers a bittersweet but inspiring message-that "the hardest part of love . . . is letting go."

Tickets are already on sale and going fast for this one night only performance, so buy yours today!  Interested in bringing a group?  Please see our linked flier, or for further details contact NSMT Group Sales person Nancy Clark Jewel at 978-232-7200  ext: 7279
Roger's Run for a Cure!

Our very own Roger Desjardins was featured on a recent WCVB segment with Maria Stephanos!  Rog has decided to clock his miles this year, and is gathering pledges for each mile run from friends and family to be donated to Voices of Hope at the year's end.

Currently he's at over $10/mile, which means if he manages 1000 miles this year (his stated goal) he'll bring in $10,000 for VOH!  Even if he stops after two miles, we're honored that he's doing this on our behalf.  Our members consistently go above and beyond in their efforts to raise money to aid in the fight against cancer, and we couldn't be prouder.

VOH has been chosen as one of the charities to benefit from the DMSE Sports Classic this summer and we are looking to fill a team of runners to run 1, 2 or all 3 races!

Recent Events

Our fall gala, Broadway for Life was a beautiful night of song and dance, and a touching tribute to the power of hope and perseverance.  We'd like to thank everyone who participated, both on-stage and off, as well as all who attended.  It was a truly magical night.

We were pleased to return to UMass Lowell,
to sing the National Anthem for the Riverhawks.  We always enjoy supporting our local sports teams.  Go UMass!

VOH went caroling at the Lynnfield Marketplace, Fuddruckers, and the Termeer Center itself this holiday season.  We love spreading cheer in this time of hope, and we thank everyone who sang with us.

The Merrimack Valley Philharmonic Orchestra
invited us back to sing at their 2016 Holiday Concert.  It took four musical directors to prepare us, but we judged it worth the time.  It was an honor to join them, and we want to extend our thanks to the conductor of the Orchestra and all its members.
