Come hear Noa Reuveni speak out for the hostages tomorrow, 10/14, 6:15pm-7:30pm at the Bernard Weinger JCC.
On October 7th, Noa Reuveni's best friend Ziv Berman, and his twin brother, Gali Berman, were kidnapped from their homes at Kibbutz Kfar Aza and taken hostage in Gaza by Hamas, where they continue to be held and their fate is unknown. Noa is most likely the last person to have had contact with Ziv and quickly became an activist speaking up for the hostages and against antisemitism. Born in Shahar, Israel, and having lived in Stockholm, Sweden, Noa shares her powerful story of resilience and advocacy for hostages through her campaign, "Zer Tikva," which has raised 8 million NIS for the Hostages and Missing Families Forum by selling sunflowers—symbols of hope. The event will conclude with a 15-minute Q&A session, allowing for thoughtful discussion on these vital issues.
The event is open to 9th-12th graders and caregivers. You can RSVP for this event at CHUSY.org/hope
