As much as some home builders would like to blame external forces for low profitability, the truth is, well-run, efficient, profit-oriented home building companies make double-digit profits in ANY market, under ANY market conditions, with ANY product lines. Conversely, disorganized, inefficient, volume-oriented home building companies often struggle to reach a 5% profit margin, even in peak economic times.
Volume-oriented builders often fight for every deal and blame low profitability on things outside of their control: market conditions, labor shortages, material shortages, the competition, etc. They focus strictly on sales volume instead of focusing on management skills and efficiency in their organizations.
Profit-oriented builders implement good management practices and build strong, integrated management systems.

Each year, Builder Partnerships presents the Lee Evans Award for Management Excellence to one builder who displays exceptionally sound management principles. The award was created to honor Lee Evans and recognize builders who are dedicated to implementing superior management systems and procedures to streamline their organizations while delivering a high-quality product to the customer.
Lee Evans was the pioneer of management education and training for the home building industry. He started teaching builders about good management practices in 1954. For many years, Lee Evans was the only one out there making a big impact on builders and their ability to grow. Builder Partnerships is proud to honor his legacy and dedication to increasing the professionalism and management standards of the home building industry through our education curriculum and our award program.
The recipient of the 2021 Lee Evans Award for Management Excellence is Atlanta-based builder Rockhaven Homes.

Brizo has created a new series of bath fixtures in collaboration with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, developed to evoke the celebrated architect’s design philosophy and approach.
The Frank Lloyd Wright Collection’s faucets, tub fillers, shower systems, and accessories are all designed to incorporate Wright’s six principles of organic architecture: simplicity, individuality, belonging, palette, substance, and integrity. This is reflected in the collection’s mix of metallic and warm wood materials and innovative geometric arrangements.

Direct Data Transfer with ECI MarkSystems®, MiTek® BuilderMT, MiTek® KOVA
|
|
Great news for users of ECI MarkSystems®, MiTek® BuilderMT, and MiTek® KOVA.
Builder Partnerships offers integrations with these systems for direct data transfer of home closing information to make rebate submissions easier for our builder members.
Our API connection allows users to input necessary rebate information simply by posting the close date. It's that easy! We encourage all MarkSystems, BuilderMT and KOVA users to take advantage of these services designed to automate and streamline your rebate submission process.
"What I enjoy most about using the Builder Partnerships rebate program is how easy it is to take advantage of their rebate program. With very little effort on our part, we receive a substantial return. Another benefit of Builder Partnerships is that they work directly with our builder specific software which makes it extremely easy to submit our rebates. I would highly recommend Builder Partnerships to other home builders."
