Volunteers have played a major role in supporting our efforts to bring shelter, stability, and support to homeless youth in Dallas ISD. Thank you, volunteers!
Coming Soon: Building Transformation
Over the last two years, Fannie C. Harris Elementary has been transformed into the Fannie C. Harris Youth Center. Dorm-like bedrooms now occupy the space that used to be a classroom. Where there was once a supply closet, there is now a lift. In the coming weeks, we will be revealing the furnished areas in the residential services center!

Our work has been challenged by the current climate, and more youth than ever will need our support on the other side of this crisis. We are asking for your support in any way you are able. Dallas ISD's Homeless Education Program Remains Connected to Students
Although schools have been closed, Dallas ISD continues to support students who are experiencing homelessness . "From providing basic school supplies and hygiene items, we continuously strive to reach our families and help ensure our students' academic success." said homeless education program manager Ashley Marshall.
After8toEducate ("After8") is a first-of-its-kind, collaborative effort to support unsheltered youth enrolled in Dallas Independent School District high schools and provide immediate support services for homeless young adults ages 14-21. Powered through Social Venture Partners Dallas, After8 harnesses the strengths of Dallas ISD and nonprofit agencies Promise House and CitySquare.
