Greetings!
Do you love the beach? Are you interested in working with people by greeting, educating, sharing fun facts with visitors and locals? Then this team is for you; and our membership dues is only $5.00.
Our Volunteer Beach Ambassadors (VBA) are found all over South Walton helping to improve our environment and enhancing the experience of our guests who are visiting our beaches.
During the month of April, we are offering 3 training classes for those wishing to become a VBA; more classes are scheduled for May.
Each meeting is 1.5 hours and will include a Presentation and guest speakers from the Beach Safety and Code Compliance divisions. At the end of the class, each trained volunteer will receive a SPF 50 T-shirt, name tag, information packet, and a trifold depicting Sea Turtles nesting around the state of Florida.
