The Michels Hall Service Program has existed since 1999. St. Norbert College students living in Michels Hall commit to individually completing at least 30 hours of service throughout the academic year. Students focus on community building, poverty awareness, multicultural awareness and mentorship at the YMCA, YWCA, St. Vincent de Paul, Freedom House, Boys and Girls Club and Aldo Leopold School.
These students provide direct service to our community members, primarily working with children in afterschool programs. Acting as positive role models, the Michels Hall Service Program participants support, encourage, and inspire youth in the Green Bay area to develop communication and teamwork skills. They have worked with local youth to be role models and examples of what it means to be a college student.
Thank you, Michels Hall Service Program, for your commitment to youth in our community!
