Rolando Isais is our Volunteer of the Week!
Rolando is a volunteer at The Farmory, a nonprofit urban farm in the Green Bay area dedicated to bringing healthy food to our community. Rolando spends most of his time growing food and perfecting the growing operations at The Farmory. Additionally, he has helped in translating materials so they can reach out to the Spanish speaking community. Rolando is always willing to step up to help at their community events, as well. Rolando has contributed a great number of hours to the project, which has allowed the staff to expand their work. Rolando's service has directly affected the capacity that they have to grow produce and engage with the community. The Farmory was able to fine tune the grow system to sell to a local restaurant, and they have reached more diverse community groups. This is thanks to the hard work of volunteers, like Rolando, who are committed to seeing The Farmory grow.
Thank you, Rolando, for going above and beyond in everything you do for The Farmory, as they create new goals.
