Andy and Tony Hockers began volunteering with Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary through the Preble High School job experience program with a job coach in September of 2009. The past three years, Tony and Andy have each volunteered more than 1500 hours each per year, and in 2015 had a high of 1702 hours each helping at the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary.

Tony and Andy's volunteerism with Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary solidifies not only their love of animals, but through their commitment, their time also helps staff do more for the animals than just clean their cages and feed them. With Tony and Andy's help, the staff has time to enrich and work with more animals, give individual animals more attention, enhance exhibits, and bring on more volunteers and students to learn about and experience wildlife.

Thank you, Tony and Andy, for your commitment to the animals of Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary!
