Herbie Haes started volunteering at Freedom House in October after telling his parents that he wanted to help kids in the community that have less than he does. Herbie serves at least twice a month and cleans, organizes, and is working on a vision to host a family game night for the families at Freedom House!

Herbie is an extremely motivated young man. He will do any task that is asked of him with a smile on his face. Herbie has helped keep the pantry organized, swept and mopped salty floors, and made sure that the family room is clean and conformable for families to enjoy together. Herbie loves meeting new people and hearing their stories. He is only 8 years old and has inspired everyone at Freedom House, staff and families alike!

Thank you, Herbie, for your volunteer service!
